Kingscliff Out of Gold Cup Race

Are there any horses left running in the for the Gold Cup? The question resonated around Cheltenham after two more prospects made their excuses yesterday. Within hours of Rule Supreme’s defection to the Ladbrokes World Hurdle came the bombshell that Kingscliff had gone the way of Best Mate, whom he supplanted as favourite only last week.

Betfair Regulating Horse Racing Industry

Betfair has signed anMoU with the US Thoroughbred Racing Protective Bureau. Allowing the Bureau to see any information from Betfair about the betting activity in North American horseracing "where there are reasonable grounds to suspect that the integrity of the sport may be compromised".
