CARLISLE RACECOURSE

Situated in the countryside on the outskirts of Carlisle, Carlisle Racecourse provides flat racing from May to September and jump racing from October to April.

During the flat racing season, Carlisle Racecourse is a right-handed, one-and-a-half mile, galloping pear-shaped course with the last four furlongs raced against the collar.

The National Hunt course at Carlisle Racecourse is a right-handed, one-mile five-furlong course, which is stiff and undulating.

Carlisle Racecourse is clearly signposted from junction 42 of the M6 and train lines run from London Euston.
