CHELTENHAM RACECOURSE

Cheltenham Racecourse in Gloucestershire is a renowned racecourse; especially for the National Hunt Festival it holds each March. The National Hunt Festival event has now been extended to four days, with £2.5million in prize money from 24 races.

In total, Cheltenham Racecourse holds 16 jump-racing events each year. Cheltenham Racecourse's design, similar to a Staffordshire knot, allows races from two-mile half-a-furlong to four-mile one-furlong in length to be run over a left handed oval course.

Cheltenham Racecourse situated north of Cheltenham, near the M5. Cheltenham Spa is the nearest rail station to the racecourse and on race days a bus links from the station to the racecourse.
