KEMPTON PARK RACECOURSE

Racing at Kempton Park Racecourse takes place throughout the year, both Flat and National Hunt. The King George VI Chase is the highlight of Kempton. Past winners include Desert Orchid, a four-time winner who now has a statue beside the paddock.

Kempton Park is located half a mile from J1 of the M3 and is well signposted from the motorway. On a raceday, the London Waterloo to Shepperton train stops at Kempton Park Racecourse station.

The Flat Racing course at Kempton is a right-handed triangle of one-mile five-furlongs with a three-and-and-a-half furlong run-in. The one-mile two-furlong Jubilee course joins round the course before the home turn. There is a separate, diagonal, sprint course.
