NEWCASTLE RACECOURSE

Newcastle Racecourse holds 32 race meetings per year, both Flat and National Hunt, making it one of Britain's busiest racecourses. Newcastle Racecourse is conveniently located on the A1, just north of Newcastle. Newcastle Central Station is just 15 minutes by car or taxi from the racecourse.

The Flat course at Newcastle is a one-and-three-quarter mile, left-handed oval with easy bends. The four-furlong run-in is uphill, requiring stamina.

The National Hunt course is a one-mile six-furlong, left-handed circuit with an uphill finish.
