SANDOWN PARK RACECOURSE

Sandown Park Racecourse is one of the UK's most famous racecourses, famed for its atmosphere, and holds 26 race meetings per year, both flat and jump racing - including the Betfred Gold Cup and the Coral Eclipse.

The Betfred Gold Cup is Sandown Park Racecourse's largest meeting in the racing calendar. A unique event in British racing with two days of combined jump and flat racing, bringing together the finest jockeys, trainers, owners and racegoers in the industry.

Sandown Park Racecourse also hosts the Coral-Eclipse. First run in 1886 as Britain's most valuable race, the Coral Eclipse remains one of Sandown Park's, and the UK's, highest profile race meetings.

Sandown Park Racecourse is easily accessible by the A3 from London and Esher station is just a 10 minute walk from the racecourse.

The flat racing course at Sandown Park is a one-mile, five furlong, right-handed oval with a four furlong uphill run-in.
