SOUTHWELL RACECOURSE

Southwell Racecourse is one of only two UK racecourse's to offer all-weather, flat turf and jump racing, providing racing every month of the year.

Southwell Racecourse is easily accessible from the A1 and near to Rolleston train station.

Southwell Racecourse's Fibresand all-weather track is a left handed oval of one-mile two-furlongs. The long sweeping bends tests both horse and jockey. It has a straight run in of three-furlongs. Southwell is the only all weather track to have a straight race. The straight track is for five-furlong sprints.

Southwell Racecourse's turf course is used for both National Hunt and flat racing, and lies within the all weather track and is one furlong shorter. Jump races feature seven obstacles per circuit with a one-furlong run in.
