THIRSK RACECOURSE

Thirsk Racecourse is set between the North Yorkshire Moors and the Dales, with easy access from road or rail. Thirsk Racecourse is a small, friendly course with excellent facilities throughout, offering 15 flat race meetings between April and September.

Thirsk Racecourse is situated just outside Thirsk, off the A61 and just quarter of a mile from the train station.

The Thirsk Racecourse circuit is just over a mile round and designed so the crowd are always near the action. The standard of racing at Thirsk Racecourse has steadily improved and now offers more prize money than ever, attracting good class horses from all over the country.

The Thirsk Racecourse's flat racing course is a sharp, one-mile two-furlong left-handed oval with a four furlong run-in.
