YORK RACECOURSE

York Racecourse is one of the Premier tracks in Europe having recently won the Flat Racecourse of the Year Award and also came out top in The Times Newspaper survey of all Britain's racecourses. Key highlights in York Racecourse's calendar include the Ebor Festival and the May Festival.

York Racecourse's new £20 million Ebor stand offers views of the home straight and winning post, containing 1,000 seats and viewing areas for standing spectators. It also features six public bars, an 80-seat bistro, three buffet bars, a 350-seat restaurant, six private boxes and a sponsors' suite.

York Racecourse is easily accessible from the M1 and A1. York train station is just one mile from the racecourse.

The flat course is a two-mile, left-handed, U-shaped course with a five-furlong run-in.
